Synopsis:Ram Gopal Varma produced two back to back hits in the year 1995. The first was Gulabi and the second Anaganaga Oka Roju. JD Chakravarthy is the lead actor in both. Varma also directed this film that stars the ultra sensuous Urmila (Matondkar) as the leading lady.
This film makes the beginning of Urmila's association with Ram Gopal Varma and would later result in block busters like Rangeela and Satya & so on. In fact with his twin hits Ram Gopal Varma had taken not only the Telugu film industry by storm, but also ventured into the impenetrable Hindi filmdom, in style. In doing so, Ram Gopal Varma also left behind a legacy of film makers and directors from his school who continue to be a force to reckon with, in the Telugu Film Industry
till date.
